Global Entrepreneurship Week
This week, Tulsa celebrates Global Entrepreneurship Week, November 17-20. TYPros is setting the stage by presenting the first speaker to focus on young entrepreneurship. At the kick-off event, learn to make a Giant Impact on the business world and in your life. Oklahoma Native Jeremie Kubicek, President and CEO of Giant Impact and Co-Founder of Giant Partners, will be the event’s keynote speaker. Kubicek’s motivating speech is sure to inspire and ignite your great ideas.
Mayor Kathy Taylor will announce the regional Creative Juices Competition Award. The winning team of local college students will go to the national competition and have an opportunity to win $2,000 and a tour of Google’s Headquarters. This award will be given to the team who was most creative and innovative in finding an alternative use for a throw-away product.

This event will recognize the winners of Tulsa’s newest entrepreneurial recognition – the Tulseys. Food and entertainment from local entrepreneurs. This year the Tulsey Ceremony will be hosted by Comedian Barry Friedman and Mayor Kathy Taylor with entertainment being provided by Tulsa’s very own, The Plumbers.
