Casa Bonita is Coming Back
The Casa Bonita restaurant at 21st and Sheridan is reopening in its original location. After being gone for three years (Casa Viva took its place but closed after the ice storm), they are working hard to reopen at the end of this month.
If you’ve never been there before, its unique atmosphere has the feel of a small Mexican village, complete with a mariachi band, arcade, “volcano room” with eruptions, cave rooms, and an aristocratic room.

You know the food has never been outstanding at Casa Bonita but where else can you eat Mexican food in a cave. Me I’m ready to try it out again. I was raised in Tulsa its a Tulsa icon. Now if we could just get Crystal’s back.

That’s true, the food isn’t anything to rave about, but it is really the traditions and fun things they incorporate that make it a great place to visit.
