Tulsa C.A.R.E.S. Fest :: August 9
Tulsa C.A.R.E.S Fest is a local music and art festival benefiting the Tulsa Center for AIDS Resources, Education and Support (Tulsa C.A.R.E.S). Music will be provided by Joe Mack, klondike5, Three Penny Upright, and Rebecca Ungerman. The on-site art gallery will feature local artists specializing in jewelry, pen and ink, pottery, glass, sculptures, and more.
Parking is FREE, and every dollar from admission fees goes straight to Tulsa C.A.R.E.S. Organizers of the event hope to remind northeastern Oklahomans that HIV/AIDS is still a growing problem.
