New Riverside Restaurant
The Blue Rose Cafe will be returning to Tulsa with a new location on the River. Previously located around the 31st and Peoria area on Brookside, the beloved restaurant will be occupying the old River’s Edge Cafe building which has been vacant since last year. Dining along the river is going to make a big comeback.
River Parks made their choice between two excellent candidates. Elliot Nelson of McNellies was also vying for the spot, but ultimately the Blue Rose won by a hair.
Tom Dittus of the Blue Rose says he’s got big plans for the new venture, including putting in piers on the river, so it almost looks like its floating on the river.
The next step for the Blue Rose will be negotiating a lease with River Parks Authority. There is no set opening date yet, since there are a lot of contract negations still on the way.
