Crowne Plaza Renovations Complete

The Crowne Plaza Hotel in downtown Tulsa just got a $24 million face-lift. It’s been two years since they started working on it and the renovations are finally complete.

There isn’t a single surface of the hotel that hasn’t been revamped or installed completely new since the renovations started. The 30-year old hotel has been transformed into a modern, boutique-hotel space. All of the hotel’s 462 rooms, including the five luxury suites, were completely renovated. Additionally, 38,000 square feet of banquet, catering and meeting rooms were remodeled.

The renovation construction was scheduled to match up with the completion of the BOK Center downtown.

Mayor Kathy Taylor and the owners and staff of the Crowne Plaza recently hosted a 500-person cocktail reception in the hotel’s renovated ballrooms. Guests saw firsthand the results of the hotel’s renovation as they enjoyed cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and entertainment.
