River District in Jenks
You may have already heard of Jenk’s exciting plans to build a River District. Crews have already cleared half a square mile of land for the urban village just south of the Creek Turnpike and Aquarium Road. The final development will include 852,000 square feet of high-end retail shopping as well as a vibrant mix of restaurants, café’s and entertainment venues.

- 300 condominium units overlooking an 80-acre lake
- a fountain by the designer of the fountains at the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas

- 400,000 sq feet of office space

- 650 hotel rooms
- fashion district

The privately-financed project is expected to hit the $1 billion mark in total investment dollars and create more than 4,000 permanent jobs and 7,000 construction jobs over the next 5 years.
Developers hope to have the River District open in October of 2011.
