Back to school time is right around the corner for Tulsa students. Bring in the new school year with some fun and excitement with these events especially for students.
Also save the date for the special events coming up that are offering free back-to-school supplies, clothing and more. Think of all the money you will save!
Thursday, August 7
Clary Sage Cool Cuts for School
Clary Sage is offering free haircuts for children ages 5-17.
Location: 4242 S. Sheridan Rd.
Time: 10:30 AM – 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM (call for appointment)
Restore Hope Ministries
Bring your ID and children’s social security card to receive K-12 school supplies. Take advantage of this opportunity thru August 15th.
Time: 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM and 1:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Location: 2960 Charles Page Blvd.
Friday, August 8
Enrichment Extravaganza
Parents bring your students to this school rally and get your kids excited about the new school year. There will be student performances and a basketball shoot-out. First 200 students get a free backpack and school supplies.
Location: McLain High School, 4929 N. Peoria
Time: 3:00 – 7:30 PM
Saturday, August 9
John 3:16 Back to School Event
New and used clothing will be provided for children from kindergarten to 12th grade. It will also include activities and games for the children.
Location: Youth and Family Center, 2027 N. Cincinnati Ave
Time: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Pete’s Back to School Bash
Kim Parrish, author of Cowboy Up and Sean Kouplen author of Out of the Blocks will be on-hand to sign their books while OSU students prepare to go back to school.

Tulsa Public Schools Back To School Rally
TPS’S 42,000 students are invited to attend this awesome back to school rally. Yes, they will talk about the dress code, code of conduct, new lunch prices and transportation issues but there will also be some student performances and plenty of enthusiasm for the new year.
