The centerpiece of the shop is the oyster tank, filled with freshwater oysters. All have been X-rayed, so each is guaranteed to have a pearl — occasionally even two, with three not being out of the question. The pearls you pick could be white, black, pink or lavender.
For $15, you can pick your own oyster, which the store opens for you. From there, mountings start at $15 and go up to $80. All are sterling silver except one gold setting, which is $85. But for $30, you can leave with a pearl necklace. Or for $29, you can buy an Aloha Pearls oyster in a box.
