SSB Kids! is multi-sport center. We build character, faith, physical discipline and confidence through sport activities. June- August summer day camps include mini (1/2 day) camps for kids ages 3-5 and full day extreme camp for ages 6 and up. First Baptist Church Day Camp

In its 35 years of operation, the First Baptist Church Day Camp is a pioneer in the field of summer day camping. Located in downtown Tulsa, the day camp is housed in the Student Center at 4th & Detroit. The Student Center features a full-size gymnasium, fully equipped game room, roller skating, and arts & crafts suite. Outdoor activities include swimming, excursions to area parks, and a weekly special trip to an area recreation attraction. Leadership is provided by ministerial staff and college age (or older) counselors, carefully selected and trained. We provide a fun summer recreation program that will enrich your child physically, socially, mentally, and spiritually. We pledge integrity and Christ-like love. Tulsa Rowing Club – Junior Summer Camps

Age Group:
13-18

Activities:
The Tulsa Rowing Club Juniors camp is open to all athletes ages 13-18. Some of the activities of the camp include water safety instruction, technique coaching in sweep rowing, sculling and coxing, endurance training and video analysis. Coaches certified and trained by US Rowing will instruct athletes at the camp. Rowers will learn how to handle boats and work together by developing teamwork among the rowing crews. The camp is aimed at beginners who want to get a start on their rowing careers and focus on the foundations of rowing. Come and develop a passion for rowing this summer!

All camp sessions will run Monday through Friday.

There will be 2 camps on the schedule this year. June 1st through June 12th (4pm to 6pm) and June 15th – 26th (6pm – 8pm)

Camp Incredible at University School

Camp Incredible at University School consists of seven one-week day camps with fun and interesting topics in a variety of areas including art, science, theater, Chinese, Spanish, math, health, crafts, language arts, reading, and much more. Horse & Art Camp

Activities:
Our kid’s camp is fun for all ages. The children learn safety around horses, learn to ride both English and Western style, and how to groom, feed, saddle and how to cool them out after a ride. There are young foals to play with, kittens to pet, and snacks aftter the ride. Some of our past students have achieved high honors for their riding skills at the Tulsa State Fair, and one was ranked High Point winner in Oklahoma for her show dressage rifing skills. Our camp headmaster is also a certified Oklahoma Art Teacher, so art is also offered, as well as Horse riding. We do paintings, ceramics, pastel, water color, and crafts.

West Equestrian

Activities:
Cheryl West, CHA Certified Master Instructor West Equestrian teaches horse riding emphasizing safety, foundation riding, rhythm and control. Camps are separated into small groups limited to six students, of similar levels, in order to maintain individual teaching relationships and to keep students safe. Certified instructors teach foundation riding to strengthen the skills of any level rider. A true seat, with balance throughout the body, takes students confidently into the horse discipline of their choice. Camps provide in-depth instruction in various disciplines including English, Western, Dressage, Jumping, Equitation, Trail Riding and Vaulting. All parts of horse care are taught, including grooming, health, farrier, saddling, groundwork and barn care. Activities are encouraging, intensive and fun!

Activities: We have been in business in Tulsa for over 15 years teaching children to ride and care for horses. The head instructor has had over 30 years teaching experience. Many of our school horses and ponies have been teaching children to ride for over ten years. We would love to spend our summer teaching your children to ride and care for horses. Everyday includes feeding, grooming, tacking, and riding horses. Some days include bathing horses, cleaning stables, and camp games. Whole days include two rides. We have a brand new indoor arena to stay cool in. We have many repeat campers and spaces fill up quickly.
