Tulsa Road Plan Goes to Voters
Tulsans will have another decision to make on the November 4 elections. Tulsa councilors recently agreed to put a 12-year, $2 billion dollar plan on the ballot for voters to approve.
People who supported the 12-year plan said it would totally fix our streets. Opponents said the plan was too expensive. No on can argue the fact that Tulsa’s streets are in dire need for repair, and a long term plan will allow us to do it in increments.
The 12-year plan includes money for maintenance crews, traffic light upgrades, and street widening. The package will need 50% plus one to be approved.
