Free Outdoor Concert Tonight

Local act Stars Go Dim will be taking the outdoor stage at the BOK Center for a free concert before Elton John/Billy Joel tonight. The Tulsa-based band has opened for Switchfoot, Daughtry and Graham Colton and has shared festival stages with Paramore, The All-American Rejects and The Roots.

The BOK Center recently announced the OneOk Outdoor Concert Series, a festival created to promote local musicians and enliven Downtown Tulsa. Five free concerts are slated through June 22 on the BOK Center’s expansive outdoor plaza on Third Street, just steps from the arena.

A variety of music genres will be featured, said a news release from the BOK Center. Each show starts outside, two hours before each evening’s headlining act inside, and includes a live radio remote by a Cox Radio station.

The full concert series schedule is available online.
